Exciting opportunity for an experienced Embedded QA Engineer to ensure top-notch camera solutions for iOS products at Apple!
Qualifications
- BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- 3 years+ of QA experience testing embedded system products
- Proficient in Python or similar scripting language
- Experience developing automated tests supporting embedded systems or mobile devices
- Understanding of the camera technologies, image signal processing (ISP) pipeline, 3A, video formats and color space
Responsibilities
- Independently drive and own testing of one or more camera features across platforms
- Design test cases and implement test plans related to functionality, performance, power, stability, and image quality of our camera solution
- Automate test cases and develop test tools on mobile platforms
- Partner with development teams and multi-functional QA team to triage, diagnose, debug issues and derive root-cause
- Identify trends and highlight potential risks
