Description
Exciting opportunity at Bear Creek Aquatic Camp as a Kitchen Manager for Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana! Lead kitchen operations and support camp staff in creating a fun and safe environment for campers.
Qualifications
  • Safe-Serve food safety certification
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • 6 months customer service experience
  • 6 months experience in an industrial kitchen
  • 6 months - 1 year of prior kitchen/restaurant management
  • experience cooking and serving 50-150 people per day
  • experience in meal preparation for restricted diets/food allergies
Responsibilities
  • oversee and participate in preparation of daily camp food service operation
  • order food and kitchen supplies
  • plan and prepare balanced meals for campers and staff
  • maintain inventory of food and cleaning supplies
  • ensure sanitary integrity of facility and food products
Education
Must possess or be willing to obtain Safe-Serve food safety certification and current First Aid/CPR certification.
Working Hours
Non-traditional and long work hours with intermittent downtime, typically does not work at night.
