Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency in Psychiatry
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Proficiency in conducting psychotherapy and therapy sessions
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment planning
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide psychotherapy and therapeutic interventions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize telehealth platforms as needed to provide remote consultations and follow-ups
Education
