Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- North Carolina Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure
- Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards
Responsibilities
- Implement selected components of patient/client interventions
- Obtain data related to the interventions provided
- Make modifications in selected interventions
- Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages
- Work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs
