Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Current certification or license as required by state
- Possesses and maintains current CPR
Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in assessing patients' functional abilities and limitations
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities
Education
Associate's degree in science or applied science approved by AOTA
