Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in electronic charting systems
- Experience with tube feeding and nutrition support
- Experience in general nutrition education (e.g., weight management, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and follow-ups for patients
- Document patient assessments, goals, and interventions in the medical record
- Provide nutritional counseling and education for patients and their families
- Ensure compliance with DOH/state/federal regulations and company standards
- Work independently, demonstrating expertise without constant supervision
