Description
Seeking a skilled RN Circulator to collaborate with surgeons and OR staff in maintaining a safe environment for surgical patients.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent formal training program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- 6 months practicing as an RN in an acute hospital setting (preferred)
- One to Two years operating room experience (preferred)
- Licensed in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse
- ACLS & PALS verified within 6 months of hiring
Responsibilities
- Coordinate surgical patients' care in perioperative setting
- Assist anesthesia during intubation and extubating
- Oversee application of aseptic technique
- Provide support to surgeon and surgical team
- Communicate pertinent patient information to medical staff
- Maintain competency in surgical procedures
Education
