Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute experience as an RN in a clinical setting
- Active RN license within the State of practice
- Demonstrate general clinical competency in acute patient care
- Interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assess patients before surgery
- Ensure operative and informed consents are signed
- Monitor PACU patients' vital signs and post-surgical factors
- Initiate IVs and inform patients about the procedure
- Review medical history and perform post-operative tasks
- Provide patient education on home recovery
- Collaborate with medical professionals for quality patient care
