Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a progressive care or similar nursing role
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Provide patient and family education regarding their conditions
- Maintain clear and open communication with the healthcare team
- Accurately document all patient information and outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
- Stay current with the latest advances in nursing practice and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
