Responsibilities
- Treat infants, children, and/or adolescents according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other appropriate personnel
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and care
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care accurately and comprehensively
- Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, prevention strategies, and meeting the patient's nursing needs
