Description
Looking for a motivated machinist helper to support our machinist shop employees, set up machines, and ensure parts are ready to run. Must be organized with great communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate's degree
- Previous experience as a machinist or in a similar position
- Familiarity with lathe and milling equipment
- Excellent computer skills
Responsibilities
- Setting up machines
- Daily maintenance on machines
- Inspecting part to blueprints
- Adjusting programs
- Housekeeping around machine
