Description
Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Davenport Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Davenport screw machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Davenport Operator or in a similar machining role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in machine setup, operation, and maintenance
- Attention to detail and precision in machining
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Set up Davenport screw machines
- Operate machines to produce precision parts
- Monitor quality of machined parts
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or tooling
- Maintain accurate records of production runs
- Follow safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors
