Qualifications
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Associate Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum of one year experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Responsibilities
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures using medical gases
- Administer medications and maintain life support systems
- Provide emergency CPR and educate patients' families on respiratory care
