Description
Seeking dedicated LPNs to provide compassionate nursing care in various healthcare settings with flexibility to choose assignments based on availability and preferences.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current and valid Practical Nurse license in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience as an LPN in a relevant healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be preferred depending on assignment requirements
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform nursing tasks with precision and efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and work schedules as needed
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and competent nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or other healthcare providers
- Perform routine nursing tasks, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, dressing wounds, and assisting with personal hygiene and activities of daily living
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring individualized and holistic care delivery
- Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment
