Description
Join our team at PROMESA R.H.C.F. as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate and make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults diagnosed with substance use disorders. We are looking for a culturally aware and sensitive individual with excellent computer skills to provide recovery-oriented interventions and support services.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (preferably BA)
- NYS OASAS Certified Recovery Peer Advocate certification
- 2+ years of experience working with people with substance use disorders
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
Responsibilities
- Provide recovery-oriented interventions for adults with substance use disorders
- Support clients in improving health and wellness in community settings
- Complete warm-hand off referrals and conduct outreach for care coordination
