Qualifications
- Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited school of Physical Therapist Assistants
Responsibilities
- Treat patients according to a treatment plan approved by the attending physician and PT
- Communicate with the physical therapist, physicians, and other treatment team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
- Provide patient and family education on tasks and resources to assist with continued functional independence and safety
