Exciting opportunity for a board certified cardiologist to provide care for adults with congenital heart disease at a top Heart Center in the United States. Join a multidisciplinary team of experts and engage in research and educational activities.
Qualifications
- Must be a board certified cardiologist and board certified/board eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease
- Must be clinically oriented and possess sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for an academic appointment
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work with a large multi-disciplinary program
- Must participate in teaching and fellowship programs
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Virginia
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as faculty member of VCU
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care in the inpatient and outpatient setting for adults with congenital heart disease regardless of severity of illness
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts
- Participate in outreach clinics, research, and educational activities related to ACHD
