Seeking a dynamic individual with a strong commitment to leadership in education to serve as Vice Chair for Education in Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico.
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent, or PhD or equivalent
- Suitable for appointment at the senior rank of Associate Professor or Professor
- Evidence of strong academic leadership experience
- Educational, teaching and supervision experience with residents, fellows, medical students, psychology interns and other trainees
- Clinical experience, minimum 5 years
- Licensable in New Mexico
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Oversee program directors for various educational programs
- Maintain and enhance processes and technologies for educational performance
- Review goals and accomplishments and set initiatives for education
