Passionate about helping individuals with substance abuse problems? GEO Group is looking for a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide education and support to those in need.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences and 2 years of experience in chemical addiction counseling, OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience, OR High School diploma and 6 years of experience
- Certification (CADC, LCAS, or LCAS A preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide Substance Abuse information for class curriculum
- Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions
- Maintain knowledge of new developments in the field
