Qualifications
- Technical school certificate or equivalent work experience
- Previous heavy equipment technician experience preferred
- Strong mechanical skills
- Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Computer skills in data entry and basic navigation
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, recondition and repair equipment and components
- Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
- Maintain condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
- Follow safety rules and regulations
- Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
