Description
Seeking CEI Inspector I candidates for transportation projects in Georgia. Perform complex inspections, document contract details, collaborate, and have proficiency in highway construction materials and methods.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1.5+ years' experience as a CEI Inspector Aide
- Proficiency with computers
- Considerable knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction
- Considerable knowledge of mathematical functions including geometry
Responsibilities
- Perform complex inspections of roadways, structures, and construction processes to assure compliance with the contract
- Supervise routine and standardized inspections
- Perform contract documentation duties, including field measurements of pay items and other Department required documentation
