Seeking highly skilled Trim Carpenters to join our team in Rapid City, SD. Work on various commercial construction projects focusing on installing and repairing trim and molding to provide a polished and finished look to interior spaces.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter in a commercial construction setting
- Extensive knowledge of different trim materials and their applications
- Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace trim, crown molding, baseboards, and other decorative woodwork according to specifications
- Measure and cut materials with precision, ensuring a perfect fit
- Complete finish work, including sanding, staining, sealing, and painting of trim and molding
- Work with a variety of materials, including wood, MDF, PVC, and other composite materials
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
