Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of local and state alcohol laws
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- Must be 18 years old at the time of hire and authorized to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check identification to ensure guests meet the legal drinking age
- Upsell drinks and snacks when appropriate
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Monitor alcohol consumption of guests and intervene as necessary
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
