Seeking a Senior Restoration Consultant to lead projects, analyze structural deficiencies, and provide solutions with autonomy and freedom at Walker Consultants.
Qualifications
- Professional license in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering
Responsibilities
- Perform investigations, surveys, and testing of existing buildings to identify and diagnose deficiencies contributing to damage or deterioration.
- Critically analyze plans, specifications, and calculations prepared by others.
- Assist with developing project proposals and reviewing agreements.
- Participate in the quality control process.
- Monitor progress of projects, adherence to project requirements, and closely track budget and procedural standards.
- Perform or review condition appraisals, develop repair schemes and repair recommendations.
- Complete and maintain all project documentation in project management software.
- Manage multiple complex projects and teams, including engineers and technical personnel.
- Maintain, market, and promote restoration and forensic engineering consulting services to new and existing clients.
- Assist with training less experienced staff in a variety of roles.
- Perform peer reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or similar.
