Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in field
- Skilled using tax preparation software
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of tax laws
- Proficiency in MS Office products
Responsibilities
- Client write up work/bookkeeping services using QuickBooks
- Review and verify tax forms to ensure their proper submission
- Work with clients to obtain information regarding their tax filings
- Review financial statements for accuracy for tax preparation
- Reporting for Payroll, sales tax and annual 1099s
- Review and prepare income tax returns for business and individuals
- Answer client questions
