Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA certification is required
- Proven experience (7+ years) in tax planning, preparation, and consulting
- Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with clients and colleagues alike
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in tax software and financial tools
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax department, overseeing a team of skilled professionals
- Review personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Provide expert guidance on complex tax matters, keeping abreast of industry trends and regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and offer tailored solutions
- Drive continuous improvement within the tax department, refining processes for enhanced efficiency
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages growth and learning
Education
