Description
Looking for a seasoned Senior Tax Manager and Accountant to lead our tax practice area, provide expertise, and ensure high-quality services for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field; master's degree preferred
- CPA or EA licensure strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in tax accounting
- Proficiency with TaxAct Professional (or similar tax preparation software), Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge for filing 1040, 1041, 1120, and 709 tax returns
- Valid PTIN
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and solve problems
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of tax professionals
- Develop and implement tax strategies and initiatives
- Review and analyze complex tax issues
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Monitor the performance and productivity of the tax practice area
Education
A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field; master’s degree preferred
